America was created by people fleeing the Extremist Religious Persecution in England, to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam they, whilst hiding in exile, they learned of the importance of liberty, freedom, tolerance, acceptance, open-mindedness, and how important it was to treat each other as equal and with respect, regardless of their differences in religion, personal beliefs, culture or country of origin. They already knew firsthand about tyranny, intolerance, religious bigotry and oppression from their time in England. Now they were able to see firsthand what a tolerant, accepting, open-minded, liberal society looked like. They fled, purposely, to the most liberal society in all of Europe, the only place they could feel protected, unmolested, and free to practice or believe whatever they wanted to without fear of judgement, reprisal, or punishment.
They heard about a ship sailing for America, named the Mayflower. They returned just long enough to hop on the ship and get as far away from England as possible. Amsterdam was a nice exile, albeit temporary, and they still needed a home, and here they found an opportunity. Their primary reason for securing passage to America aboard the Mayflower was to escape the oppression, judgments, criticisms, opinions, intolerance, enforced morality, and suppression of their personal freedoms & liberties. They needed, desperately, to get out from under their inability to do what they wanted to do according to the dictates of their own individual consciences, openly and freely.
They learned, in Amsterdam, a culture of open mindedness and acceptance of others regardless of creed, belief, religion, religious practice, or personal choices and decisions. It was a culture of respect for individuals and individual freedoms, and respect for the inherent worth and equality of all people and their personal rights, in their personal lives. They were an international group of expats, travel-savvy, minds open to different cultures and people. They decided the only place to be truly free was in a new land who’s only promise was freedom.
They arrived as immigrants, twice expatriated from their native home in the UK. They arrived with little more than hope and a dream for freedom from persecution. They arrived tired, poor, homeless, tempest-tossed, yearning to breathe free. They arrived in America as Exiles. They lived wretched, miserable lives, across the world from the very pinnacle of civilization which they left.
There were also those aboard the Mayflower who were not exiles, who were directly from England.
They all had an understandable, albeit typical view of “heathen” Native American cultures. Nevertheless, they understood differences and were content for the most part to live their lives on their own, separate from the world, as they had grown accustomed to doing. Some of the members who were not exiles likely had a more prejudiced view of and attitude towards Native Americans.
More and more people came to America. Many were very smart and intelligent, most weren’t, but were just looking for opportunity. Most all of them were not escaping religious persecution in the same way the main families aboard the Mayflower were.
The colonies were growing, each location led by a common belief or religion, in most cases. There were a few colonies and locations within the colonies which had a tolerant and accepting policy towards all religions, and allowed anyone to have any religions they wanted. The incorporated British colonies didn’t, and neither did many others.
As more and more people came to America from different cultures like the Dutch, the Germans, the Irish, the Scottish, the Italians, the Norse, the Swedes, etc, more personalities, cultural influences, language nuances, beliefs and family cultures became prevalent throughout daily life in most of the colonies, as did the need to understand and accept different people, from different places, with different cultures, beliefs, & values.
America had been forming it’s own culture from the first arrival of immigrants, and that became its own identity. The Declaration of Independence states that all mankind, not just Americans, but ALL MANKIND, are entitled to certain inalienable rights, a number of them, and that among this number of inalienable rights, are “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
- Liberty. That is a right that is inalienable to you, unable to ever be taken away, ever, whoever you are, American or otherwise, in America or in Africa, or wherever you are, all mankind.
- Pursuit of Happiness. That is your right. Pursue Happiness. Nobody has a right to take that away from you. Nobody can stop you from pursuing that which helps you find happiness. Happiness is to you what happiness is to you. Nobody can stop you, its your right. If they tried to stop you, they would be violating that inalienable right. Hence, nobody can hinder, stop, prevent, molest or in any other way to stop you from pursuing happiness. Am I stopping you from being happy? I would be fundamentally against everything America was built upon, and against a right of all mankind.
- Life – your right.
After becoming an independent nation, the framers of the Constitution created it specifically to create a protective society that would allow everyone to be free to believe and practice whatever they want to, and to create a society as much like Amsterdam as possible, where Liberty is a core concept, and the rights of individuals to oppress or judge others was removed, in favor for a place where very person can enjoy the fullness of Liberty, in all its glory.
The Preamble to the United States Constitution:
- Form a more perfect country – to make the country better, or more perfect.
- Establish Justice – to ensure Justice will always prevail.
- Insure Domestic Tranquility – to make America peaceful and safe for everyone.
- Provide for the Common Defense – to keep all Americans safe.
- Promote the General Welfare – to serve the Welfare of the American people
- Secure the Benefits of Liberty to Ourselves – to ensure we can all enjoy the fullness of having our liberty.
- Secure the Benefits of Liberty to our Posterity – to ensure the same full benefits of liberty are also provided to every American, forever.
We can clearly see a strong emphasis on absolute Liberty, Welfare, Justice, Safety & Security.
The constitution itself then contains 6 articles pertaining to the structure and functioning of government.
- Assigning Legislative Powers of Government
- About the Executive Powers of Government
- Assigning the Judicial Powers of Government
- Discusses Individual States Relationships, and specifically spells out the protection for our privilege to “the enjoyment of life and liberty”
- Discusses how to make Amendments to the Constitution
- Discusses debts and the Constitution’s status, and specifically spells out that no one can be hired for a job based on if you believe they belong to such and such religion.
So, in only 6 short Articles, the only thing set up to run an entire Nation, one of the world’s biggest and most prosperous nations, they brought up the rights to:
- The Enjoyment of Life – You should be enjoying your life, irregardless of who you are.
- The Enjoyment of Liberty – You should be enjoying your Liberty to do as you please, according to the dictates of your own conscience.
- Not being hired because of your religion – this still happens shamelessly in religion-dominated places in America, such as Mormon-controlled Utah/Idaho, and the Southern Bible Belt.
There are 27 Amendments to the Constitution
The first 10 were all proposed in 1789 and ratified in 1791, and are called the Bill of Rights. The other 17 Amendments were created anywhere from 4 years later, until the 27th Amendment, ratified in 1991.
The Bill of Rights:
- First Amendment:
- Prohibits any law respecting religion,
- Prohibits impeding the free exercise of others’ religions
- Taking away or changing freedom of speech
- Infringing on the freedom of the press
- Interfering with the right to peaceably assemble
- Prohibiting a governmental redress of grievances
The First Amendment in the Bill of Rights specifically takes Religion as a tool away from the people who would cause others to suffer. You have a belief or a religion, woo, hoo, good for you. Keep it to yourself. Enjoy it. But it’s your belief, alone. Keep your religious ideas or feelings about what your God wants or doesn’t want, or what you feel the bible means, or whatever, to yourself. That’s the right you have. That’s the only right you have. You specifically DO NOT have the right to bother anyone else your special brand of bullcrap, nor take away anyone else’s happiness, at all. Go Away. Crawl back in your hole. That’s what your founding father’s told you to do. Now be a good American, and STFU. You have freedom of speech, but not to take away anyone else’s happiness, and not to spread your religious vitriol.
In short, as an American, you cannot bother anyone else in America, nor take away their happiness. That means wherever they are from, if they are Irish, German, English, Russian, Italian, Hungarian, Turkish, Persian, Ecuadorian, Peruvian, Chilean, Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Maori, Mongolian, Filipino, Malaysian, Thai, Burmese, Lao, Hmong, Viet, Tibetan, Nepalese, Indian, Native American, Inuit, Greek, Moroccan, Israeli, Jordanian, Kuwaiti, Madagascan, South African, Congolese, Sudanese, Romanian, Slovenian, Ukrainian, Norse, or from anywhere else in the world.
You can’t bother anyone with your bull. keep it to yourself, hillbilly.
You can’t bother anyone else practicing their religion, be they Adamite, Agonoclita, Aladura, Amish, Anabaptist, Angelican, Anglicanism, Apostolic, Asatru, Assemblies of God, Atheism, Baha’i Faith, Baptists, Bardaisanite, Basilidean, Beghard, Beguine, Bogomilism, Bon, Brethren of the Free Spirit, Buddhism, Calvinist, Candomble, Cao Dai, Carpocratianism, Cathari, Catharism, Catholicism, Charismatic movement, Chinese Religion, Christadelphians, Christian Science, Church of God, Church of God in Christ, Church of Satan, Church of the East, Confucianism, Congregationalist, Conservative Judaism, Deism, Donatism, Dragon Rouge, Druze, Dulcinian, Eastern Orthodox Church, Ebionite, Eckankar, Ecumenical, ELCA, Epicureanism, Elcesaites, Esoteric, Evangelicalism, Falun Gong, Foursquare Church, Friends of God, Gnosticism, Greek Religion, Hare Krishna, Hasidism, Hellenic Reconstructionism, Hinduism, Illuminati, Intelligent Design, Islam, Jainism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Judaism, Kabbalah, Kemetic Reconstructionism, Latin Church, Lutheranism, Mahayana Buddhism, Marcionism, Mayan Religion, Methodism, Millerism, Mithraism, Mormonism, Nazarene, Neopaganism, New Age, New Thought, Nichiren, Nicolaitan, Norse Religion, Olmec Religion, Oneness Pentecostalism, Orthodox Judaism, Patarines, Pentecostalism, Presbyterianism, Priory of Sion, Protestantism, Pure Land Buddhism, Quakers, Rastafarianism, Reform Judaism, Rinzai Zen Buddhism, Roman Religion, Satanism, Scientology, Sethianism, Seventh-Day Adventism, Shaivism, Shi’a Islam, Shinto, Sikhism, Simonians, Soto Zen Buddhism, Southcottism, Spiritualism, Stoicism, Sufism, Sunni Islam, Swedenborgianism, Taoism, Tendai Buddhism, Theravada Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Typhonian Order, Umbanda, Unification Church, Unitarian Universalism, Vaishnavism, Vajrayana Buddhism, Valentinianism, Vedanta, Vineyard Churches, Voodoo, Westboro Baptist Church, Wicca, Worldwide Church of God, Yezidi, Zen, Zionism, Zoroastrianism, or anything else.
Our forefathers were surrounded with foreigners, foreigners made up most of the population, with different religions, beliefs, cultures and languages.
Your religion isn’t any better than anyone else’s, neither does anyone care. Keep it to yourself, like everyone else does, champ.
You aren’t American if you push your own religious beliefs or religious supremacy or religious ideals on anyone else, or if you set them above anyone else’s religion, or attack anyone else’s religion, or interrupt anyone else’s pursuit of happiness or freedoms whatsoever.
You aren’t American by virtue of being “white”, all that does is show that you don’t really know who you are, where you came from, why you’re here, or what you’re even doing. You’re lost. You’re clueless. You’re not “American”. You’re certainly not any more “American” than anyone else.
Your only right is to make another flag, different from the American Flag, perhaps similar to the Confederate one or another of your choosing, and take a name that you’d like to use, such as “The Confederate States of America” or “The Hillbilly States of the Backwoods” or whatever suits your fancy, and take them both to make war with the United States of America, against the Free and Equal United States Citizens.
You think Muslims shouldn’t be here in America? You are in violation of NOT only an amendments of the constitution, but actual Articles of the original constitution. You want to think the 1st Amendment should be changed? You think the 13th Amendment granting Freedom to African Americans should be changed because it’s not part of the Bill of Rights? The first Amendment that’s being revoked is the 2nd, your right to bear arms, hillbilly.
You think Muslims don’t belong here because their God isn’t the Christian one, hillbilly?
FYI, it’s the same exact God as the God of the Christian Bible, and they’ll be the first to tell you so. And that is infinitely closer to your own beliefs than that of the many Gods of the Irish & Scottish Celts, and the many Gods of the Norwegians, or the Ostrogoth or the Visigoth, or Every Native American Tribe, and countless other peoples & cultures.
What’s that? Their Religion says you’re evil? Your own religion says everyone else is evil and going to literally burn in fire for all eternity because they’re not as racist and bigoted and uneducated as you are.
You’re a joke, in a one-pony circus.Take your beliefs and shove them back in the hole they came from. They are not interesting or relevant to anyone else. Are Muslims knocking on your door telling you that you’re going to hell? No. Keep your stupid ideas about religion and all the rest of your idiotic beliefs to yourselves.
So, someone wanted to blow you up, and your unhappy about that? Are you actually just mad they had the balls to do it, and you don’t have the balls to take out your doomsday gun and ammunition stash and start killing non-white people like you really, really want to do?
All mankind, not just those in America or just white people, but ALL mankind, has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Muslims, in America or anywhere in the world, have the right to Life, as do you, hillbilly, and the right to Liberty, to practice, believe, worship, pray or live however they want to, in anyway they desire. And the pursuit of Happiness. Only in America is it actually guaranteed.
Yes, hillbilly, if you are unkind or unfriendly to a Muslim, or stop them from finding happiness in your little backwoods hillbilly rut, you are being the exact opposite of American. You are NOT American. You are an enemy of the United States of America, and I suggest you go talk to your buddy hoss and his sister/wife and git er done, git together and rally round the Confederate flag and bring it. Just bring it, clown.
I am descended of 8 different families aboard the Mayflower. My European ancestors have been in America for 400 years. I am Native American, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Caddo & Cherokee. My Native American ancestors have been in America for tens of thousands of years. I am Native Hawaiian. My ancestors were the first people to arrive in Hawaiian Island Archipelago.
You’re an inbred redneck hillbilly. You aren’t American. You’re white trash. Learn the difference. You aren’t more American than my little toe nail clipping I flipped out the window. You will stop your harassment and disturbing of the peace of my fellow Americans, from around the world, of all different races, cultures, and religions. You will leave the African Americans alone and beg their forgiveness on your knees. This is not your land, this is not your country. You are unwanted and unwelcome, I don’t care that you were born here and have nowhere else to go. I want you gone. Start thinking of places you can go where you might fit in. I think Antarctica is the only place where your ilk might find a place where you might be liked.
This is your opposition. You’ve been warned.
